I reimagined Johnny Stimson’s “Gimme Gimme” music video by creating 3D kinetic typography instead of the 2D style used in the original music video. After completing the 3D modeling process, I worked on motion design with music and typography. The lyrics, about longing for love, are shown through objects in a symbolic way. The music box represents the world we live in. Inside, floating droplets and seahorses are placed above sharp crystals, showing the delicate and shaky nature of relationships between couples. Seahorses, which symbolize lasting love, reflect the kind of love the narrator hopes for.
